Kenyans react after President Uhuru Kenyatta send NTSA home

Kenyans have registered Mixed Reactions

Under the Hashtag #NTSA Kenyans on Twitter have registered mixed reactions following the President Order.

Many of those who have decided to keep the conversation going, have praised the President for taking a bold move of ordering NTSA to stay away from our roads, due to the many accidents being reported.

Despite the Order, Tweeps are asking the President to disband the whole NTSA and allow the Traffic Officers to do their work.

“but Mr President you should have disbanded this @ thing”

Others urged that since NTSA was formed, Accidents have increased on our roads, and therefore it was a wise decision to send the whole team home.

"Now that has been withdrawn from our roads, I hope our corrupt traffic police will at least maintain order."

Reactions from Twitter

“Mr president, check on the measures to put across in order to avoid the very same accidents now as result of corrupt traffic police,im afraid ksh 50 can lead to the death of 62 passengers if the situation is not contained

“And probably what u don't understand is having both of them at the same time was even worse, u had to bribe both, sasa acha tujipange na karau tu. was just good for nothing. Only enriching themselves”

“This was just to fool us around they have no idea what is going on but the QUESTION i have been asking dont they have officers on the ground ??”

the officers that were not in Highways but rather in offices taking logbook and DL bribes in the office”t

“Apparently an official hiding in a bush along Salgaa to catch speeding drivers bitten by a snake on the buttocks and has died on his way to hospital. Please someone tell me this is a joke!
