New development that has caused anxiety in Raila's Team 

Raila Odinga's team has disclosed that their being intimidated and are now afraid.

A source who spoke to a local daily disclosed that they are afraid to pick a chairman to steer the team because he/she would become a target of the State.

“There is a legitimate fear within the committee that picking one to chair it will invite ridicule and unnecessary attacks from the State, which would derail our work,” the source told the Nation.

The team picked will be responsible for planning the swearing in of NASA leader Raila Odinga on 12th December (Jamhuri Day).

However, the plan to swear-in Odinga could now be jeopardised due to the Government's threat to the leaders spearheading the the comittee.

David Ndii Arrested

NASA could also face a new challenge after David Ndii, leader of the people's assembly was arrested on Sunday.

Odinga's spokesman and private secretary, Dennis Onyango, claimed that Ndii was arrested because of his appointment to lead the people's assembly.

Ndii was to lead the team of seven and they would be responsible for coordinating programmes of all county assemblies that have passed the motion for the formation of the people's assembly.

The other members include Senator Judy Sijeny, Oduor Ong'wen, Dr Mutakha Kangu, Peter Mathuki, Hamida Kibwana and Koitamet Olekina.
