Drama in Migori as details emerge of planned meeting between Sharon and Okoth Obado over pregnancy

Governor reportedly cancelled trip to Rwanda following Sharon's murder

Residents who spoke to Pulselive.co.ke revealed that the cash-wielding crew moved from one newspaper vendor to another purchasing all copies of newspapers.

In Migori where news of Sharon Otieno’s murder continue to dominate discussions, residents suspect that the crew that bough off newspapers from the streets are keen on starving the locals of information as more details of Sharon’s involvement with the governor emerge.

A sister to the deceased has disclosed that Sharon was supposed to meet the Governor Okoth Obado over the pregnancy on the day she was abducted and murdered.

“She told me she was supposed to meet with him (the governor) over the pregnancy on Sunday but the meeting did not happen until Monday,” Paula Whitney said.

The family has divulged that Sharon was romantically involved with the Migori County boss and was seven months pregnant for the governor.

The governor is reportedly not in Migori where the mystery of his alleged involvement with Otieno continues to unravel and has reportedly cancelled a trip to Rwanda.

Obado’s Press Secretary Nicholas Anyuor told the press that those linking the governor to the gruesome murder are keen in tarnishing his name.

The governor has enlisted the services of seasoned lawyer Cliff Ombetta as he seeks to clear his name from the controversial murder of Sharon.
