Safaricom boss in trouble after causing death by dangerous driving

This happened 2 years after the tragic incident.

Director of Public Prosecution Keriako Tobiko has filed charges against Director for Consumer Business at Safaricom Limited Sylvia Mulinge.

The charges are for 'causing death by dangerous driving' two years ago along the Southern bypass.

Mulinge joined Safaricom in February 2006 where she has been working for the last decade. During her tenure at Safaricom, Mulinge has worked as the Prepay product manager, Head of Retail, GM of Safaricom Business before taking up her current position as the Director for Consumer Business.

Due to her work, Sylvia has been recognized as one of the ‘Top 40 under 40’ women in Kenya by Business Daily and she was also named as the 2015 WEF Young Global Leader in Africa.
