Sonko’s confidant launches merciless attack on Uhuru's family

"We know Uhuru's preferred candidate"

Mike Sonko’s confidant, Kalembe Ndile, launches merciless attack on President Uhuru Kenyatta's family

A close confidant of Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has launched a scathing attack on President Uhuru Kenyatta and his family over the troubles facing the Nairobi county boss.

Kalembe Ndile, a close ally and aide to Sonko, claimed President Kenyatta had all along preferred Peter Kenneth to be Nairobi Governor and was allegedly targeting the Nairobi Governor to achieve that wish.

Ndile said the case against Sonko was politically motivated, citing the resources used to arrest the Governor including use of a police helicopter.

The former TIP party leader also blamed the BBI process for some of the troubles facing his friend Sonko.

We are very suspicious of the handshake between Uhuru and Raila. I have read the BBI and I have concluded that they are planning to use it to take over the management of Nairobi county.”

I want to remind Kenyans that Uhuru’s preferred candidate was Peter Kenneth. The arrest of Sonko has reminded us many things, even Uhuru, he maybe clean but he is sitting on wealth which his father grabbed from Kenyans. The biggest problem with this country starts with the Kenyatta and Odinga families, without them in our politics, there will no fights. Let the BBI be taken to those two families the rest of us Kenyans are okay,” Ndile stated.

The former MP leader became the first insider in Sonko's camp to comment on the tribulations facing the Nairobi Governor.

Sonko has maintained silence on the charges facing him, in compliance of a court order that barred him from discussing the case him in public or on any social media platforms.
