The Mombasa County boss was visited by former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo at the hospital on Friday.
Joho fell sick on Thursday and after visiting the hospital doctors recommended he be admitted for further check up.

The governor will be discharged on Friday, according to his communications team.
