Kenyan blogger blasts CS Mohammed over Meru University crisis after student leader's death

Cyprian claims he informed Education CS

The Cabinet CS was lambasted over the death of Meru University Crisis that has led to the death of a student.

Cyprian stated that he had apprised the CS of the situation in Meru University that he says has been going on for over a month.

Nyakundi’s tweet read;

“FYI, The Meru University crisis has been on for more than One month. There is a day I made some tweets urging to intervene and sort the crisis but she was busy applying make-up”

The current state in Meru University has come to the public’s attention following an incident where a student leader was shot dead.

The student was Meru University secretary general. He was known as Evans Njoroge and he died after being shot on the head.

Njoroge has served as Secretary General of the Student Association of Meru University and has over time led spirited fights the latest one being fighting against increment of school fees.
