Babu Owino blasts Sonko over video of Waititu begging the Nairobi Governor to release his wife

This was after a video of Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu pleading with Sonko to illegally release his wife and 15 other people who were arrested on Wednesday morning emerged.

“Order imetoka huko juu lakini ntavunja sheria nimwachilie,” Sonko is recorded saying.

Babu accused the Nairobi Governor of talking about fighting corruption and yet he is corrupt.

He came out to blast the Nairobi Governor by tweeting “Governor Mike Sonko must be reminded in no uncertain terms that the law must never be adjusted to suit one's class, title, religion, tribe or any other form of discrimination. This video clip rubbishes all Sonko’s purported efforts on matter war against corruption!”
