Junior commented as Mwangi took on Odinga over the recent unity deal made with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The outspoken activist alluded to the ODM leader taking a bribe in order to neuter the opposition against the Jubilee government.
ODM Communications Director Philip Etale then responded to Mwangi, accusing him of becoming an “irritant idler” – but the former Starehe MP aspirant was unrelenting.

“This “irritating idler” says should just retire with the handcheque. He has played his role and he must go home to play with his grandkids. Raila selfish, transactional politics has ruined our nation. From selling nominations to destroying those who refuse to bootlick,” he tweeted.
It was at this point that Junior moved to defend his father, saying Mwangi had a personal issue with the Odingas.
“This man issues with are personal to a point where he once called his grandchildren spoilt brats. He is a classist and divides the world in simple uneducated terms. We are all Kenyans and there’s no where you can banish a Kenyan to,” the former Prime Minister’s son said.
True to his philosophy of courage, the activist did not take Junior’s accusations laying down.

“Hey you went to a private restaurant and demanded your child be given another child’s toy, that’s entitlement. I didn’t call your child a brat, but you just did. As a beneficiary of nepotism courtesy of your dad,l shall let address you. He knows your ways,” Mwangi said in a rejoinder.
