Orange Democratic Movement supporters were treated to a surprise after vocal Cherangany MP Joshua Kuttuny joined party leader Raila Odinga for a mega rally to celebrate Bernard Imran Okoth’s win.
ODM celebrated McDonald Mariga's defeat in style at the 'Bedroom Iko Locked' thanksgiving rally in Kibra
The rally brought together leaders from across the political divide including Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua, Maina Kamanda, Kuttuny among others.
The rally, dubbed ‘Bedroom iko locked’ was in appreciation of the overwhelming support that the party received in the Thursday by-election when voters resoundingly rejected Jubilee’s McDonald Mariga in a contest that was billed as a rehearsal for 2022, pitting DP Ruto against Odinga.
Junet Mohamed also caused a stir after showing up for the rally, donning a cap that closely resembles Didmus Baraza’s cap that was lost in the chaos that was witnessed on Thursday during the Kibra by-election.
It is not clear why the Suna East MP chose the hat especially at a time when the Kimilili MP is yet to recover his hat and with DP Ruto bashing ODM for the violence that was witnessed.
His actions did not escape the attention of Kimani Ichung’wah who alleged that he is in possession of stolen property.
“@Junet Mohamed, You are in possession of stolen property. You should condemn violence and anarchy as the same will be used to evict you from the Suna bedroom when they decide you are a kunguni from Manders. Be warned my friend” Tweeted Ichung’wah.
