Taking his anger on Twitter and Facebook, Mr Itumbi has questioned the authenticity of the verdict being read by the five0judge bench, after two judges failed to show up.
"The role of @IDLO researchers is obvious - did the DCJ write this verdict she is struggling to read or did the #WakoraNetwork pen it," Itumbi wrote in a tweet.
Overturn ruling
The sensational message by Itumbi comes at a time a former presidential candidate Prof Michael Wainaina petitioned the Supreme Court demanding that the decision to annul President Uhuru Kenyatta win be annulled for alleged meetings that might have jeopardised the outcome of the case.
In a petition certified as urgent filed at the Supreme Court, Prof Michael Wainaina has demanded that the decision by the apex court be nullified for grounds that two judges might have been compromised by the petitioner, leading to a skewed judgement.
On September 1, the Supreme Court nullified the August 8 presidential election over allegations of impropriety against two of its judges, who dissented.
Outburst
Mr Itumbi has, however, received an outburst of mixed reaction from over half a million followers on twitter. Some of the reactions are captured below.
One quipped that the ruling might have been written by a one Waiguru.
Another one suggested that the ruling was baseless and mere hogwash.
