The DP had earlier on alerted all newsrooms that he would be having a press briefing at the venue without disclosing what the agenda of the presser would be.
Journalists flocked the official DP's residence armed with questions on his recent claims that a section of Mt Kenya leaders were plotting his assassination, hoping to finally get a word from the horse's mouth on why he is yet to record a statement with DCI.
The members of press would remain a disappointed lot after the DP refused to answer any questions on the assassination scandal and he steered clear of the discussion in his address.
Some journalists were even kicked out of the Karen residence by the DP's security marshals after they camped outside the offices hoping that Dr Ruto would emerge once more and address their queries.
Why DP Ruto met Hellen Nkaissery at his Karen office
DP Ruto met with Ms Nkaissery over the official signing of the End FGM Beads Initiative that involves the Ushanga beads project (run by Ms Nkaissery), United Nations Population Fund (UNPFA) and UNFPA Kenya.
"We appreciate the collaboration of UNFPAKe, Anti-FGM Board and Ushanga for efforts to end harmful cultural practices, such as FGM and child marriage that affects women's health, education and hinder their progress.
"We must create safe spaces for girls and women to realize their potential; thrive and accelerate gender parity," the DP stated during his presser.
