Former South Sudanese President John Garang’s son Mabior Garang on Tuesday fell victim to the rising insecurity in Nairobi after an armed gang broke into his home in Kilimani.
The gang of four made away with thousands of cash and jewellery reported to be worth millions of shillings.
Threatened
His wife and brother were not so lucky as they were threatened with a pistol before being tied with ropes as the robbers went on to steal Sh120,00 cash money as well as expensive gold watches and jewellery.
The Garang family has been living in Kenya since 2005 when the South Sudanese leader was killed in a helicopter crash.
