Poster shared on Twitter, trolling Governor Ferdinand Waititu

Discontent citizens shamed their governors through various posts that highlighted development areas where the governors were rated poorly.

A sarcastic poster read in part: "Barabara umejenga ukamaliza. Potholes zinakuona zinapotea...Huku kwako watu hawana shida, wako sawa hadi 2022. Kazi umefanya ukamaliza sasa imebaki siasa.

"(You have built good roads. Potholes disappear in your presence...Your people are content waiting for 2022. You have done all the work now focus on politics)," the poster read in part.

List of Shame

Some of the governors who received a lot of backlash included Governor Ferdinand Waititu (Kiambu), Hassan Joho (Mombasa) and Mike Sonko (Nairobi).

Here are some of the posts that were shared.

Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu and her Kakamega counterpart seemed to bear a good reputation with the public as some of the commentators hailed them for the successful projects they had already initiated.

The Council of Governors on Tuesday hosted the launch of the Public Participation Guidelines in Braille where they attempted to have their lunch while blindfolded.

Auditor General Edward Ouko later released a report that indicated various misappropriation of funds incidences in the counties.
