The 4 powerful men Miguna wants punished over deportation

Here they are

On Monday, Mr. Miguna moved to the court through his lawyers Nelson Havi and John Khaminwa seeking reinstatement of his Kenyan passport and citizenship.

In an affidavit, the Canadian-based lawyer listed Interior and Coordination Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i Director of Immigration Gordon Kihalangwa, Attorney General and officer in charge of flying squad Said Kiprotich among seven respondents who abused their office and oversaw his deportation.

“That a declaration be and is hereby issued that the manner in which the Respondents conducted themselves resulting to the purported cancellation of the citizenship of the Petitioner, revocation, and confiscation of his passport and other identity documents and the declaration that he was a member of a prohibited class and a prohibited immigrant and removal from Kenya were done in violation of the rule of law and in direct contravention of provisions of the constitution,” the affidavit reads.

The fiery lawyer was deported to Canada after he was arrested for administering an oath to NASA leader Raila Odinga as the People’s President.

Speaking during an interview in Toronto, Mr. Miguna accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of issuing the order to have him deported.

"My message to Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto is, ‘Kenya does not belong to you and I’ll be back. Sorry!’” he said.

The former Nairobi Gubernatorial aspirant also revealed why he reconciled with Mr. Odinga, despite their brawl which saw Miguna publish a book heavily criticizing the former Prime Minister.
