Orengo & Wanjigi allowed to leave Kenya

Siaya Senator James Orengo and businessman Jimi Wanjigi were on Tuesday finally allowed to travel to Zimbabwe after they were blocked at the Jomo Kenya International Airport (JKIA) on Monday.

The two will be boarding a flight to Zimbabwe at 1.45 PM, where they will be attending the burial of Morgan Tsavingirai.

The duo will be joining National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga who is at Harare for the burial.

On Tuesday morning, Mr Orengo expressed disappointment after being blocked from traveling over claims that his passports had been revoked.

"We are not criminals. I am a State officer. If you can deal with me this way it means the authority of Parliament is emasculated," he said.
