Her tweet received a number of reactions with most of her followers advising her that she should have just ignored the posts.

Other commentators were not so kind, alleging that the former Day Break host was being dramatic for no reason.

Joey Quits Citizen TV

Joey recently quit her job at Citizen Tv after her employer raised an issue with her ambassador gig with Betin.

Speaking shortly after quitting, Joey told reporters that she would be traveling to Italy to further her partnership with the betting company and her co-ambassador, Mariga.

One of the footballer's relatives dispelled rumours that the two were dating when he revealed that Mariga was planning to marry the mother of his daughter in a private ceremony in Spain, next year.
