The Wiper party has called a delegates meeting scheduled for March 16 where the final decision will be made on whether the party will go it alone or stick in the NASA coalition.
Musyoka’s allies have expressed anger and frustration with Raila Odinga’s ODM party over what they have termed as harassment and disrespect.
About 10,000 delegates are expected to grace the meeting which will be held in Nairobi’s Komarock area.
The Star reported unnamed Wiper MPs indicating that the calls to leave NASA would dominate the agenda of the delegates’ conference.
“It is sad that when ODM engages Jubilee it is called dialogue and when Wiper does, they call us traitors,” stated a top Wiper official.
The meeting has come at a time when Musyoka’s ally, who is also Kitui Senator Enoch Wambua, warned Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho against dis-respecting the Wiper Party Leader.
“In case they think we are stuck in Nasa, let our brothers in ODM know that as the Wiper party we have several options and we are ready to pursue any when necessary. Let them tread carefully,” Wambua stated.
