Deputy President William Ruto was on Sunday outsmarted by Kenyans who took to twitter giving witty responses with some subjecting him to ridicule after he commented on Raphael Tuju’s alleged role in Raila Odinga’s camp.

DP Ruto had taken to Twitter in humour, expressing surprise at Tuju’s role writing: “So our democracy is so liberal that the SG of the ruling party has become the chief strategist of the opposition!! Maajabu”

Polycarp Hinga was quick to remind the DP of his own actions of openly defying and contradicting his boss and party leader-the President.

“Indeed it is. It is so very liberal that the Deputy President and Deputy Party Leader can openly contradict and defy the President and Party Leader. Ni maajabu kweli.” Hinga wrote.

Patrick Ndegwa related the situation to DP Ruto’s activities around the country which many have alleged are pre-mature 2022 campaigns with the potential of splitting Jubilee especially after numerous warnings from President Kenyatta.

“Excellently liberal that only in Kenya the sitting DP is the mastermind of creating Division in the ruling party and chief campaigner for 2022.” Ndegwa wrote.

Maccos was quick to allege that the liberal democracy in Kenya has seen the DP take up the role of the opposition within the ruling party where he is second in command.

Many faulted DP Ruto for crying foul at a time when ODM’s Aisha Jumwa is in her corner, accompanyinhg her to different functions when the iron lady from the Coast spits fire with 2022 succession politics dominating her speeches in support of the DP.
