Ken Okoth's battle with cancer
The MP is battling colorectal cancer which was diagnosed at it's late stage, stage four, where doctors cautioned it is not curable but could be managed.
He went through a vigorous round of radiation treatment in 2018 which was meant to avert the possibility of organ failure.
He has been in France going through chemotherapy which is known to take its toll on the body, explaining the weight loss.
Various colleagues from Parliament have made the trip to France to visit him, with the most recent visit having been made by Senate Speaker Ken Lusaka and nominated Senator Judith Pareno.
