Chaos in Kisumu over Raila's Swearing-in

Just in

Emerging reports indicate that young men camped at the County offices on Monday morning demanding for facilitation to travel to Uhuru Park, where the event will be held.

Led by Bunge la Wananchi speaker Peter Omondi the youth stated that it was unfortunate the Kisumu Government had only released Sh100,000 to cater for 400 people.

"It's unfortunate that we were only given Sh100,000 which cannot cater for all this," he was quoted by a local daily as saying.

Omondi added: “What is wrong with our county? We are reading mischief in this because it's like they don't care about Raila taking oath of office,"
