The Nairobi County Assembly has rejected Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko's nominee for the Finance Chief Officer - of Mary Nyambura.
The Finance, Budget and Appropriation committee, which vetted her, tabled a report which showed that she lacked the requisite experience to perform the senior position that she had been nominated to.
The nominee had shocked the MCAs after she admitted that she supervised two clerks at her current employment at Kenya Power.
She also revealed that she had only two years experience as an accountant.
