Moses Kuria warns Raila about Miguna's plan to send him to the 'gallows next week'

Miguna Miguna is set to oversee the swearing-in of Raila Odinga on Tuesday next week.

Mr Kuria wrote on Facebook on Friday that the former premier, whom he refers to as Jakom (Luo word for extinguished person), told Mr Odinga to be “careful” with Dr Miguna’s resistance mantra, terming it an illusionary idea, destined for failure.

Likening Miguna to the infamous Alice Lwakena, a Holy Spirit movement, led by a former prostitute which turned into a spirit medium, Mr Kuria revealed that the avid lawyer would take Mr Odinga into the gallows.

“Be very afraid Jakom. These expeditionary kinsmen of yours will send you to the gallows next week. You will thank me later-but you won’t! Dead men tell no tales!” he wrote on Friday.

Mr Kuria was in equal measure chiding Embakasi East MP Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino who claimed on Thursday that he (Moses Kuria) once served as the Treasurer of the Students Organisation of University of Nairobi (SONU), a seat set for ladies.

“Moses Kuria was a SONU Treasurer, a position that was a preserve for ladies. I was a SONU chairman for four terms. I will never argue with a village leader with jiggers infested in the brain,” Babu Owino said on Thursday.

On his part, Mr Kuria told off Babu, adding that Miguna Miguna also served in the same position,  and wondered why the lawmaker had not castigated him too.

“The  last SONU Treasurer before me was leader of NRM and Resist Miguna Miguna. That’s where Babu Owino gets it right. When you have your uprising led by a senior girl guide like Miguna Miguna, you start to see it for what it is. In fact I now totally agree with Babu Owino,” Mr Kuria posted.

A spat between the two lawmakers started last Sunday when Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja bailed out Babu Owino from Parklands Police Station. Mr Kuria accused Mr Sakaja of endorsing Babu Owino’s moves to break laws.Ra
