Controversial Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has come out guns blazing with a daring statement in which he urged people to join him in assembling goons ahead of 2022 general elections.

Kuria disclosed that he arrived at the conclusion that Kenyans in general and politicians in particular should depend on goons and not the police following the violence that was witnessed during the Kibra constituency by-election.

Moses Kuria faulted Kenyans for making fun of the unfortunate situation that Boni Khalwale and Didimus Baraza found themselves in after rowdy youth attacked them during the hotly-contested Kibra by-election.

“I am still in shock that Kenyans are making fun of the violence meted upon Boni Khalwale and Didimus Baraza in Kibra…Simba Arati ordering goons to beat Didimus Baraza infront of cameras is despicable”. Kuria wrote.

He also faulted CS Fred Matiangi and security agencies for failing to take action, stating that he presumes their silence to mean that political violence is acceptable.

“Since Fred Matiangi and the security system has said nothing about this, I presume it is fair game and we should all depend on goons not on the police.” Kuria added.

The by-election that was held on Thursday was as dramatc as the campaigns with Bonny Khalwale coming face to face with violence.

In one of the photos that circulated on social media, the former Kakamega senator was pictured carrying stones, ready to defend himself.
