NASA principal Musalia Mudavadi was the subject of a scathing attack launched by Sports CS Rashid Echesa.
In a bare knuckle attack, took a swipe at Mudavadiâs presidential ambitions, clarifying that the ANC boss lacked financial capital to win the seat.
Echesa clarified that if Mudavadi âwants to be president he shouldâŠshow his Sh 200Billion for presidential campaigns and also show his network in Kenyaâ.
He called for an end to what he termed as regional lies that Mudavadi would one day ascend to the seat.
The CS was speaking at a function in Western province at a ceremony theat was also attended by the ANC party leader.
In a quick rejoinder, Mudavadi termed Echesaâs claims as foolish making it clear that no one would sink such friends in an election unless they are willing to engage in corruption.
One would be very foolish to spend such an amount on the presidential campaigns. How will they recover the money unless they plan to engage in corrupt deals oncein power?â Mudavadi paused.
Mudavadi revisited his history of politics, outlining that for long, he had supported other leaders and it was now his time to ascend to the seat.
These come in the wake of spirited efforts to merge the two dominant parties in Western ANC and Ford Kenya in readiness for the 2022 polls.
Plans to merge the two parties were endorsed by Ford Kenya at a conference in Naivasha.
