They were asked to report after they sought an anticipatory bail

National Super Alliance (NASA) politicians led by Siaya Senator James Orengo and business man Jimmi Wanjigi and Babu Owino are among those who have presented themselves at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations headquarters.

The move comes despite an earlier statement by the Kenya Police said that the leaders were not persons of interest and that they should not bother turning up at the DCI headquarters on Thursday as directed by the Court.

The NASA politicians had sought an anticipatory bail of Sh 100,000 on Tuesday and were expected to appear for grilling for having attended the controversial swearing-in ceremony of NASA leader Raila Odinga on January 30 at Uhuru Park in Nairobi.

At the time of their arrival, the politician who also include Mombasa Governor, Hassan Joho, , Senator George Khaniri, Makadara Members of Parliament George Aladwa, Simba Arati, Gladys Wanga and NASA Chief Executive Officer, Norman Magaya, and NASA strategist David Ndii were accompanied by their lawyer Nelson Havi.
