NASA cancels plans to push Jubilee out of power

This comes after ODM elected a new Secretary General

Opposition coalition National Super Alliance (NASA) has cancelled plans it had put in place to push out of power the Jubilee government.

According to ODM Executive Director Oduor Ong’wen who is also a member of the People’s Assembly Steering Committee who spoke to the Star, the National Super Alliance has postponed the inaugural People’s Convention that was initially set for February 28 and would announce new dates on Monday next week.

“We would be making some adjustments to the programme and we will issue a comprehensive brief on Monday,” said the Orange Democratic Movement Executive Director.

The opposition outfit had initially planned to use the People’s Assemblies to pile pressure on the Jubilee party to agree to dialogue with NASA.
