It is said  that the President is preparing to send home 11 cabinet secretaries after failing to meet expectations in his first term.

The decision is said to have been communicated in a closed door meeting with the all cabinet and permanent secretaries. Sources say that the president told his cabinet that he would send anyone mentioned in any corruption case packing.

The reshuffle is suspected to make way for new faces in the cabinet, some of whom may be from opposition stronghold.

On the other hand, NASA has suffered a major blow after the government made Uhuru Park unavailable for the swearing in of Raila Odinga.

The Nairobi county government has warned NASA that action will be taken against them if they went ahead to hold the ceremony at grounds.

This action comes barely a day after president Uhuru invited the NASA leader to his swearing in scheduled on the same day.
