Migori Governor Okoth Obado has fired the director in charge of administration Mr. Lazaro Ogutu
Mr Ogutu was sacked over alleged graft charges that he is facing in court and was immidiately replaced by Dominic Akugo.
According to Migori secretary Christopher Rusana, other changes were made in the administration in a move to improve services in the County.

Edward Kabaka was named chief officer of Water and will continue to act in the Lands department where he has been working. He replaced Donald Jaleny who was moved to Monitoring and evaluation department.
According to sources privy to the changes, some senior officers are soon likely to face the sack over the alleged disloyalty to Obado's leadership.
From the Nation report, the troubled Governor is expected to make further changes in coming days where county ministers and chief officers are also likely to be shown the door.

Governor Obado resumed his duties as Migori Governor on October 24 after being released from Industrial Area Remand Prison in Nairobi where he was detained for allegedly having a hand in the murder of slain Rongo University Student Sharon Otieno.
The judge issued him a cash bail of Sh5 million or two sureties of Sh5 million each.
