National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga’s team has moved in swiftly after the opposition chief was attacked by a section of his supporters over Miguna Migua’s deportation.
What was meant to be an Easter message from the former premier backfired as disappointed NASA supporters used the forum to bash the opposition chief.
Raila Odinga’s communication team in charge of managing the page have since moved into action deleting some comments posted by the public.
Many users complained that their comments criticizing the opposition chief had been pulled down by.
It is not clear whether this was done to save the image of Odinga in the face of mounting criticism or if the comments were derogatory / insulting to Odinga or the public.
One Facebook user attempted to give an explanation why some of the comments criticising the NASA boss had been deleted.
ODM director of communication Philip Etale however saw positivity in the midst of the harsh criticism, urging the opposition chief to be strong.
Frantic efforts by Odinga to help Miguna be granted entry into the country were futile with the lawyer being detained at JKIA for close to three days before his eventual deportation.
However, the reaction was a clear message to Odinga that not everyone is happy on how he has handled the issue.
