National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga has revealed that he has inspired the world with his actions being emulated in different parts of the globe.
Addressing the public at a thanksgiving in Enkorika, Kajiado Central on Saturday, Odinga caused a stir when he disclosed that his famous handshake with President Kenyatta had gone viral with people shaking hands for good reasons.
Odinga was alluding to the handshake between North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, and the South Korean president Moon Jae-in that appears to break 65 years of animosity between the two nations.
"Three days ago, Korean leaders bonded over handshakes during a world summit in a positive mood that appears to break 65 years of North and South animosity." Odinga noted.
Odinga disclosed that he was impressed by the relative peace and calm that has prevailed in the country following the handshake deal that saw the two leaders put aside their political difference and pledge to work together to unite Kenya.
In the wake of the March 09 handshake, several leaders have reached out to their counterparts in rival camps and posing for the signature handshake photos.
These include a meeting between Kalonzo Musyoka and Mike Sonko. Sonko also met Moses Wetangula.
