Samboja, who was elected on a Wiper Party ticket, surprised residents when he turned up at Mwakishimba Primary School in Wundanyi constituency.
Samboja has in the past two months broken from the Wiper ranks by making statements in support of the ruling coalition.
Earlier in the month, the former radio presenter, made an appearance at a Jubilee rally presided over by President Uhuru Kenyatta where he also said he was willing to work with the government for the sake of development of his county.
Incidentally, Samboja had in the past worked at the Kenyatta family owned company – Media Max.
He has also faced legal battle since his election, after Kenyatta University disowned a degree he had purportedly obtained from the institution.
