Ruto issued a tough statement on Sunday

Deputy President Willim Ruto has finally broken his silence on President Uhuru Kenyatta’s new cabinet nominees that was unveiled on Friday.

The DP took to his twitter account where he defended President Kenyatta’s decision to retain six Cabinet Secretaries while bringing in three nominees.

He called on Kenyan, particularly Jubilee supporters, to avoid the 2022 political talk and instead focus on supporting President Kenyatta in realising his manifesto.

“Kenyans, more so jubilee should avoid useless political debates about positions including 2022 and focus single-mindedly on delivering our manifesto voted for by the people while allowing the President the space to perform his constitutional duty to assemble the team for us,” the Jubilee deputy leader stated.
