DP Ruto’s allies give statement on Mudavadi, Wetangula and DP Ruto working together
Talks of new alliances ahead of 2022
Addressing his supporters during a tour of Western Kenya, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula disclosed that talks were underway to form a new political outfit that would unite the region and bring others from across the country on board.
“Every other time we have been fielding many candidates as a community but this time around we decided it will not happen again. Wetangula and I will walk together on the journey to unite our people,” Mudavadi stated.
The alliance could also rope in Deputy President William Ruto and bring in the vote-rich Kalenjin community on board.
Speaking at the same event in Tuloi primary school in Nandi during the homecoming for Kaptuiywa MCA, Nandi Governor Stephen Sang and Senator Samson Cherargei disclosed that the Kalenjin community led by DP Ruto was ready to engage with Wetangula and Mudavadi ahead of the 2022 elections.
They however challenged the NASA principals to put their house in order to pave way for the deal that could change the 2022 politics.
Afterwards, the leaders embarked on an ambitious plan to consolidate the Luhya community vote block behind them.
Throughout the tour, their rallying call was for the community to unite against NASA leaders Raila Odinga, with Wetangula declaring a political war against Odinga.
They disclosed that they would soon give the way forward to the Luhya community.
