Beth Mugo to Raila: Retire from politics, you are a failure

Former prime minister has used the transparency report to hit back at the Jubilee administration, calling on Kenyans to oust President Kenyatta.

She urged Jubilee supporters to register as voters in large numbers in order to support Kenyatta’s reelection bid.

Speaking in Mombasa County on a voter registration sensitization tour, Ms. Mugo wondered why he would go for the top seat yet he (Odinga) failed Kibera residents while serving as their member of parliament. Odinga served Kibera Constituency for over ten years.

She added, “Raila will definitely flop in managing the whole country.”

“What developments will he bring? My friend Odinga failed to do anything for Kibera, the country will be a tall order for him. Use your voter’s card to make him retire. It is former Devolution Cabinet Secretary Ann Waiguru who built a toilet and road in Kibera,” she said during a voters registration exercise in Tononoka.

Mrs. Mugo used the opportunity to drum up support for Kenyatta’s reelection bid in August polls. She heaped praises on Kenyatta saying he is a nice person who loves Kenyans adding that he is neither corrupt nor a thief. Raila has since countered.

Meanwhile Raila has moved to warn jubilee of the impeding failure in the oncoming general elections. Raila was speaking yesterday in Meru where he held a public rally to rally residents to register as voters.  After Meru, he is today expected in Kakamega County for the mass voter registration campaign.
