Police block Joho from attending Uhuru's event

Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho was on Wednesday blocked by GSU officers from attending the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) launch, presided over by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Speaking to Plive.co.ke Joho's spokesperson Richard Chacha divulged that the Governor was barred at Miritini station.

Chacha noted that Joho was told that the 'orders had been issued from above'.
