President Uhuru Kenyatta has now challenged Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho to justify why he should be re-elected for a second term and show the projects he had initiated since being elected to office.
Speaking in Mombasa County ahead of the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) launch on Wednesday, Kenyatta warned Joho to keep off Jubilee projects and finish one of his own instead of focusing on what Jubilee had accomplished.
"The Governor has been criticising our projects here at the Coast including this SGR project. "He should focus on completing at least one of his own like building dykes or cleaning the city before he starts looking elsewhere," Kenyatta affirmed. The president stated that Jubilee had accomplished the promises it made in 2013 and urged Coast residents to vote for Jubilee during the August 8 election.
