Simeon Nyachae summoned by DCI in Sh63 billion Arror-Kimwarer dam scandal

Directorat of Criminal Investigations boss George Kinoti has summoned a person believed to be former Minister Simeon Nyachae.

In a letter dated February 25, 2019, the DCI boss summoned persons linked to over 107 companies in connection to the fraudulent construction of both Arror and Kimwarer multi-purpose dams.

The letter noted that the companies listed and their directors have information that will be helpful to their graft investigations.

Mr Kinoti outlined that the people named in the letter had been paid to offer various services for the project that is valued at Sh68 million.

Simeon Nyachae to be questioned on Tuesday

"They should avail the following documents; quotations, invoices, delivery notes among other relevant documents.

"You are now compelled to report to DCI headquarters, Kiambu Road at 9 a.m. on 26th February 2019 to the Director of Investigation Bureau Block , 2nd floor room 78.

"Failure to comply with the requisition constitutes an offence liable to prosecution," the letter signed by Kinoti read in part.
