Cholera hits 47 people at Weston Hotel

Panic

The cholera outbreak was confirmed by Dr George Nyale, who is among the medics attending a science conference at the hotel linked to Deputy President William Ruto.

A source privy to the matter told a local daily that the 47 had been confirmed to have cholera.

However, Mr Nyale who is the chairman at the conference highlighted that there was no cause for alarm.

The guests are at the hotel for “The Kenya International Scientific Lung Health Conference”, a forum organised by the Ministry of Health.
