Despite bitter differences and the fact that Melanie Trump even plagiarized her speech, Michelle Obama played the cordial host to the incoming US FLOTUS, Melanie Trump.

As Barrack Obama met his long standing critic and the man who takes over from him as President, attention was also elsewhere at another hand over.

The outgoing first lady Michelle Obama and the incoming first lady Melanie Trump were also having their own hand over process.

Usually there is a traditional tea sharing moment as the ladies talk and about mostly family and housekeeping stuff as the incumbent familiarizes the incoming lady about the White House.

Aside from tea the shared by the two ladies, Michele Obama took Melanie Trump round a tour of White House. The Obamas were all cordial with their guests despite the bitter rivalry.

The stark contrast between the two ladies is evident but Michelle and Melanie found a common topic in their families. Melanie and Trump have a 10 year old son who will become the first son to grow up in the White House since John F Kennedy Jr.

The Obamas got to the White House with their daughters aged 10 and 7 years old.

Thus Michelle was better placed to offer advice to Melanie on the experience of raising a child around such protected but still highly watched grounds. One would also hope that even though they many never discuss about the speech Melanie plagiarized..at least Melanie got hints on conducting herself as the magnificent FLOUTUS Michelle has been.
