Peace Mass Transit involved in accident caused by cows

Another Peace Mass Transit vehicle has been involved in an auto crash caused by a cow.

Vanguard reports that the bus which was on its way from Nsukka to Enugu at the time, ran into the bush during a bid to overtake another vehicle only to be intercepted by a cow.

According to the reports, there were no fatalities although some of the passengers suffered injuries during the bus' plunge into the bush.

Speaking with a Vanguard correspondent, one of the injured passengers identified as Miss Angela Ifeoma, praised God for saving their lives while explaining that the cow ran into the express as if it was planned by the owner to go and cause an accident.

“The cow ran to the express like what somebody sent to go out to the express to cause an accident but thank God for saving us."

Shocked by the incident, the driver thanked God for sparing their lives.

He added that the incident happened so suddenly that he could not explain how it all happened.

“I do not know what to say but all the praise and adoration should go to God”, he said.

As of the time of the report, none of the passengers had been hospitalized.
