Sex workers stage protest over murder of colleague

The prostitute was found dead by janitors cleaning the room she slept with a male customer soliciting for sex.

Kenyans prostitutes hold placards in protest over the murder of their colleague.

According to Crime Alerts, the body of the deceased was found over the weekend at by janitors cleaning the room she had slept with her guest.

Her colleagues held placards with the inscriptions, ‘Sex workers: don’t kill them’, ‘Sex workers have right to live’, 'Sex workers: Support them'.

Jacob Kanake, a director for the Mombasa Criminal Investigation Department mentioned that investigations has began into the murder.

He revealed that efforts are being made to apprehend the suspect believed to be responsible for the death of the deceased.
