Kenya moves four places up in Fifa rankings

Harambee Stars are six places shy of their best Fifa ranking which was recorded in December 2008.

Kenya national team Harambee Stars have moved four places up to position 74 in the latest Fifa rankings.

In spite of being dormant in the month of May, the Stanley Okumbi coached outfit has moved past Syria, Trinidad, Azerbaijan and UAE.

They are now three places shy of catching up with their neighbours Uganda, who moved one place up, and 65 places above Tanzania.

Harambee Stars’ Afcon 2019 qualifiers opponent Sierra Leone are at 113 as Egypt tops Africa. Senegal, Cameroon, Nigeria and DR Congo seals top five positions.
