In what we could safely call a perfect clap back for rumours making rounds that he is broke, Dennis Oliech has now revealed that he has just landed a one year deal with his former club that will see him earn a Ksh30.million each month come January 2018.
“I landed a one year deal with French Ligue 1 club FC Nantes, which will see me stay at the club till the end of 2018. I will return to Kenya in May, 2018 during the break. My monthly salary at the football club will be 250,000 Euros a month. The signing will cost FC Nantes 4 million Euros (Sh486 million), “ he revealed to E Daily.
Oliech boasts an impressive background in soccer. He has played for various teams around the world including Ajaccio, the French Auxerre and Dubai CSC.
Many of his friends came out to defend him after the online trolling on Tuesday stating that they were proud of where he was career wise.
His brother Kevin said that Dennis had not gone broke but was solely focused on his new deal with a travelling agency that is marketing tickets to the World Cup tournament that will be taking place next year June.
“He has been a superstar for a very long time and what you should actually focus on is his new deal with Bunson Travel for the 2018 FIFA world Cup Rusia…”
The player was recently unveiled as the official Bunson Travel 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia Ambassador.
Coach Ghost Mulee has aslo come out to defend the soccer player after their picture together sparked the whole drama. He pointed out that looks could be quite deceptive before he made his pride for the player who was Captain of his then team, Harambee Stars.
He said, “Looks are deceptive. I’m still proud of my Captain Dennis Oliech. This all points to how people look at à glass, some see it half full while some see it half empty.”
Dennis who was recently rumored to be dating sexy singer Avril, is scheduled to travel to Russia in December where a few lucky Kenyans will accompany him to watch some matches when the games kick off.
As of now, Oliech claims that he will soon be heading to Nantes for medical evaluation.
