Uhuru Kenyatta will be sworn in as the 5th President of the republic of Kenya on 29th of August.
This is according to the law which states that President-elect and his deputy will be inaugurated on the Tuesday following the 14th date of the declaration of presidential election results, if no petition will have been filed by then.
The President will take an oath of office in Chief Justice David Maraga’s presence on Tuesday with leaders across the globe expected to grace the event.
Former US president Barrack Obama is among the Key dignitaries expected to attend the swearing in ceremony.

The swearing-in committee, which is headed by Chief of Staff Joseph Kinyua, disclosed that the President’s friends and world leaders would be invited.
Among the leaders likely to grace the event include: Nigeria’s Muhammadu Buhari, Paul Kagame (Rwanda), Yoweri Museveni (Uganda) among others.
Meanwhile, NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga has declined to concede defeat in the presidential race on grounds that the results were manipulated.
Kenyatta was declared the winner by IEBC after garnering 8,203,290 votes againts Odinga’s 6,762,224 votes.
Chaos and protests were witnessed in some parts of the country but police have managed to restore order.
Anxiety is high in the country following Odinga’s announcement on Sunday that he would make a major declaration on Tuesday.
