Uhuru's Vehicle in Road Accident

A vehicle in President Uhuru Kenyatta's motorcade was on Monday involved in an accident.

The vehicle hit a Nyamira Sacco matatu injuring four people. The 14-seater was heading to Suneka from Kisii town.

The accident happened at Gesono out Mount Kenya University campus in Kisii town.

The Head of State and his deputy William Ruto were forced to stopped the entourage as those injured were attended to.

The four were rushed to Kisii Level 5 Hospital.

President Kenyatta's motorcade was heading to Suneka airstrip after the rally at Gusii stadium.

President Kenyatta was in Kisii County where he had taken his campaign trail ahead of the August 8 General Election.
