Get rid of those fraudsters who rip you dry.
The service dubbed “Sell it For Me” will relieve car sellers the burden of getting in touch with the end buyer by using approved middlemen identified as champs.
Making the announcement, Country Manager Peter Ndiang’ui assured users that the champs would undergo a verification process before they are allowed to operate on behalf of the owners.
Unlike the previous operation where the seller had the obligation to post the merchandise then meet with the buyer, champs will be in charge of the whole process.
“The seller will not have the hassle of meeting the buyer. The whole transaction is protected because we get involved directly.
“OLX champs will handle the entire selling process for both the buyer and seller coupled with a seamless safe payment method,” Ndiang’ui said.
To access the service, you will be required to pay Sh2,000 in order to get the OLX agent.
The champs will then place the car advert on the site, the source for the buyer and agree on a selling price.
The owner will then relax and await for their money once the OLX agnet finalise the transactions.
