ODM announces fresh Leadership changes [Full List]

In the line-up, visibly strong hardliners of the party have been rewarded.

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has announced a fresh set of names to formally take over the leadership of the party.

The list has been gazetted by the Registrar of Political Parties, Lucy Ndung'u under Gazette Notice No.4488 of the Political Parties Act.

In the line-up, individuals in the powerful National Executive Council (NEC) perceived to have switched allegiance from ODM have been replaced by visibly strong hardliners of the party.

NEC Retreat

Last week, ODM party leader Raila Odinga led the National Executive Committee in a retreat at the Lake Elementaita Lodge where he briefed them on rejuvenate plans of the party organs right from the National Secretariat to the grassroots level which include filling the vacant positions.

Odinga took the opportunity to also brief the NEC on the building bridges to a new Kenya initiative between him and H.E. President Uhuru Kenyatta as contained in the MOU of 9th of March 2018 and the progress made so far.
