Tanzanian singer Ali Saleh Kiba popularly known as Alikiba has for the first time shared a photo of his father.

In a post he shared on his Instagram page on father’s day, the singer posted pictures with his children and one for his father.

The Seduce Me hit maker surprised many of his followers with the move, as he rarely talks about his father.

Alikiba was recently forced to set the record straight on why he never talks of his father but his mother, in an interview East African TV (EATV), where he said that it was because his mother played a big role in nurturing his singing talent, unlike his father who was always travelling.

The singer added that his father was an International driver and he used to travel to different countries in Africa where he would sometimes stay for months before coming back home.

“Baba yangu kiukweli alikuwa ni international driver, alikuwa anasafiri mara kwa mara nchi tofauti tofauti yaani kuchafua bara la Afrika zima. Kwa hivyo alikuwa yupo busy sana muda mwingine alikuwa anaweza kukaa nje ya nchi hata mwezi mmoja au hata mitatu,” said Alikiba.
