Man rams armored vehicle into shop for just 1 bottle of wine

A heavily intoxicated man rammed an armored personnel carrier into a shop window before climbing through the rubble to steal a bottle of wine.

What length would you go to quench your thirst? Steal some money, drink on credit or even pretend to have ‘blacked out’ in order to avoid the bill? Well, all that pales in comparison to what a man in Russia did.

In his infinite wisdom, he rammed a military armored vehicle for, wait for it, just one bottle of wine! He stole the vehicle from a training ground, drove it through a forest before finally reaching Apatity which is a small town just South of the Arctic circle.

Struggling to turn around in a narrow street, the man, whom witnesses described as being drunk, proceeded to slam the tank into the window of the “Family” convenience store.

He also damaged a Daewoo vehicle that was parked nearby.

Footage shared on social media showed the man subsequently exiting the vehicle through its hatch, briefly inspecting the damage, and entering the shop through the broken window as if nothing had happened.

The man in his late twenties was later arrested in possession of a stolen wine bottle.

Rather than a subtle and well calculated move like the Kenya Commercial Bank heist, this man went for brute force. Literally.
